2015: Presented a petition to the Senate to amend a bill emanating from the National Assembly (The Natural Resources Bill No 54 of 2015), which sought to make it mandatory for confined field trial of GM crops, as well as material transfer agreements (MTAs involving any plant or animal) to seek ratification from Kenya Parliament. That clause was successfully expunged.
