Kenya University Biotechnology Consortium (KUBICO)
The Kenya University Biotechnology Consortium (KUBICO; Registration No. 46659) is a not-for-profit Society of biotechnology and biosafety experts based in Public Universities using biotech approaches and innovations for better food security, health and the environment. The consortium promotes responsible and safe use of biotechnology by conducting public education and strengthening capacity for development, regulatory safety assessments and technology adoption.

Petitioned the National Assembly to allow the conduct and issue permit for NPTs of Bt maize
Conducted an analysis on the effects of ban on importation of foods derived from GMO
